Congregate Meals
A hot nutritious lunch served in a warm social setting. Meals are
served 5 days a week at SNAP of Eastern Queens (718)454-2100 and
SNAP Rosedale (718)525-8899. SNAP Bell Park serves
meals(718)740-3906 on Monday and Friday only.

Transportation
Transportation services to senior centers, medical appointments,
shopping facilities and other community resources are available to
older residents of eastern Queens through SNAP of Eastern Queens
(718)454-2100, SNAP Bell Park (718)740-3906 and SNAP Rosedale
(718)525-8899.

Meals on Wheels
A hot nutritious meal is offered 7 days a week to homebound
residents of North Community Board 13 through SNAP. Contact
Cheryl Dankel (718)454-2100 ext. 19. Homebound residents living
in the Rosedale area needing Meals on Wheels call SNAP Rosedale at
(718) 525-8899.

Education/Recreation
Stimulating classes, support groups, fun filled trips, parties and
excellent volunteer opportunities are offered at all three SNAP
centers: SNAP of Eastern Queens (718)454-2100, SNAP Bell Park
(718)740-3906 and SNAP Rosedale (718)525-8899.

Case Management
The social work staff assists seniors with obtaining benefits and
entitlements, case management, advocacy and support around issues
of health and the social environment at the SNAP senior centers.

Caregiver Services
SNAP is committed to the well being of the caregiver and to
providing a variety of services within a warm and supportive
environment. Services include: counseling, supportive groups,
educational seminars, information and referral assistance and

Developmentally Disabled Day Program
SNAP of Eastern Queens provides services to developmentally
disabled adults, with a special needs enrichment program for
participants 50 years or over through the Senior Day Program. For
more information about the services for developmentally disabled

Volunteer Opportunities
At SNAP of Eastern Queens (718) 454-2100, SNAP Rosedale (718)

opportunities to volunteer and assist with the daily
activities in the senior centers.
Seniors and community resident interested in participating in the
Friendly Visiting Program, conference calls, or in volunteering
time and energy to assisting others in the community, please call
